Nepali American Center is a proud partner of Samaanta Foundation and Asha Nepal. Samaanta Foundation supports college level education of gifted students in Nepal who are facing financial challenges. Asha Nepal supports elementary to high school level education of female students in Nepal who have been victims of rape,who have been abused,trafficked, are at high risk and living with social discrimination. Our heart breaks and soul cries when we see these talented children not being able to dream of education and live a comfortable life.
NAC started organizing a walk/bike fundraising event from 2023 to support these students in Nepal. NAC was able to donate $1500 to each partner organization in 2023.
